Is an introductory course in which you will be able to strengthen the knowledge and skills of entrepreneurship through art and to start the process of converting an idea into an innovative business model through different teaching practices of international universities accredited internationally by ACBSP.

Today entrepreneurship can be understood as the new leadership because increasingly society and organizations require leaders with characteristics of entrepreneurs that generate value from creating innovative initiatives.
During this course, you will be able to understand what is entrepreneurship and you will learn that it is a skill that can be learned and developed. Young people today require not only a specific knowledge of a discipline, but also they have to develop entrepreneurial skills that are crucial in the process of creation.
Therefore, inspired on art, you will reflect on eleven (11) skills that are necessary to identify and address challenges and opportunities in the current context as: Be sensitive to the world, Think outside the box (Creativity), To innovate in the simple, Be delivered without limits, Risking to win, The power of working with others, The power of achievement, Continue to grow, Opening up to the world, Learn to reinvent themselves, Recognize the past to plan the future.

The purchase of the final content module also includes the option of the certificate of completion and will be available within the course.

Contents

  • Module 1. Into the world of entrepreneurship
    • This module is an introduction to the context, challenges and meaning of entrepreneurship in young people around the world. It explains how entrepreneurship can be learned, why everybody could be an entrepreneur and why it is a right and an obligation.
  • Module 2. Skills of the entrepreneur and art as inspiration
    • Through art you will find eleven skills that are essential for the entrepreneur.
  • Module 3. Creating innovative business models (premium module available to students who purchase the certificate of completion)
    • In this module you will make the process of converting an idea into an innovative business model through the different teaching practices of international universities accredited internationally by ACBSP.

Teachers

Alejandro Cheyne
Dean at the School of Business of Universidad del Rosario. He served as President of the University
UNIEMPRESARIAL, an institution founded by the Chamber of Commerce of Bogota, Colombia. Previously, he was vice-dean of the School of Economics of Universidad Sergio Arboleda, Director of the Business Advisory Unit of Universidad del Rosario and Coordinator of Graduate Certificates of Universidad de la Sabana. He holds a PhD of Pedagogy ofthe University UPAEP in Mexico, he is Economist and Specialist in business administration and of Universidad del Rosario.
Ángela Pulido
Business Administrator of Universidad Externado de Colombia. Graduate studies in Social Project
Evaluation of Universidad de los Andes. Currently, she is coordinator of the project hub in the Center
of Entrepreneurship of Universidad del Rosario. More than 7 years of experience in entrepreneurship supporting projects and companies. Knowledge in the development of business models and relationship with institutions of the ecosystem of entrepreneurship. Jury of projects from different competitions such as Ventures Colombia. Certified in Franchise Program of the IABD and Propaís Colombia. Co-Founder 2k30, a social entrepreneurship.
Claudia Dulce
Bachelor of lnternalional Business Administration and Business Administration from Universidad del
Rosario. Experience in marketing and public relations areas, developing new strategies for units and proposing intra-entrepreneurship projects. Graduate certificate in Marketing and currently, lnternational Affairs Coordinator al the School of Buiness of Universidad del Rosario.
Andrea Ávila
Expert and passionate about entrepreneurship. She currently directs the Center for Entrepreneurship and a Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship and lnnovation at Universidad del Rosario. Business
Administrator of Universidad Externado de Colombia, with graduate studies in marketing, development of entrepreneurship programs, leadership development companies and educational models in Asia, Europe and North America.  Experience as an entrepreneur, mentor, jury and professor of entrepreneurship programs. With more than 13 years of experience in the direction, creation,
planning and strengthening of centers, programs, projects and services of entrepreneurship and
innovation, business development and social development in public and private institutions.
Margarita Guzmán
Artist, designer and Master in Museology and Heritage Management of the National University of
Colombia, trilingual professional (Spanish, French and English) with experience in the conceptualization, design, implementation and development of museological and museographic
projects with an emphasis on management cultural projects. For more than 20 years she has been a
professor of art, design, in the areas of Museology as education, communication and museography.
Currently linked to projects related lo heritage, memory and identity with the Universidad del
Rosario. It manages and directs the newly created Museum of !he University of Rosario. Develops the
management of the Rosario collection in the area of documentation, conservation and restoration as well as the activation ot cultural heritage in institutional exhibitions that link the history of the institution and the National History, Since 2015, she has been supporting and participating in the Soñarle project, The Art of Entrepreneurship of UrEmprende with the museographic design and !he pedagogical concept of the project. It belongs lo ICOM Colombia and UMAC associations of museologists and national and international level.
